contains hardware similar to previous installations but includes
customized software to meet the operational needs of the plant.
Components include a new main control panel and program, color graphical
operator interface, circulating and return pumps, complete air valve package,
heat exchanger, flow meter, and paperless data recorder. The
recorder stores all temperature, conductivity, and flow readings (for
each circuit being cleaned) on a magnetic card which is downloaded and
stored in the plant's computer system. |

RMC Orders MSG 55
Separator - For the
third time in the last two years, R. Mueller Service and Equipment
Company, Inc. (RMC) is bringing a first-of-its-kind machine to the
United States.

machines in the low/middle end of the flow-rate spectrum at an
affordable price. The MSG 55 will standardize milk at 23,000
lbs/hr and separate at 17,000 lbs/hr with a footprint of only 5' x
3'. RMC has already ordered this machine for delivery in September
2001.

Cold Milk
Separator Enters US - R.
Mueller Service and Equipment Company, Inc. (RMC) will be installing Westfalia
Separator's MSD
200-07-076 cold milk separator at a customer facility by the end of this
year. This is the first model of its kind in the United
States. This MSD 200 will separate milk at a temperature of 45°
F at a feed rate of 40,000
lbs/hr.
While separation efficiencies
of cold milk are lower than warm milk, cold separation avoids having to
heat the milk and subsequently cool it again for storage. Also,
cream from cold milk separation often earns a premium in the cream
market. Cold milk separation requires different bowl set-ups and
cream discharges than standard warm milk separators.
Call Steve Phillipps at
1-800-989-8362 to discuss cold milk technologies and equipment for your
operation. |
